downloading and installing a stand-alone version of Netscape or Internet Explorer Web
Browsers.

AOL browser, one can solve many problems associated with accessing the Internet or World
Wide Web through AOL.

- Download the latest versions (4.0 or later) of Internet Explorer or
Netscape
Communicator
- Install the executable or zipped browser files on your computer. For
complete instructions on how to do this refer to the download websites.
- After you successfully installed your new browser, restart your
computer so that all the changes will take effect.
- Sign on to AOL and stay at the AOL welcome page. (NOTE:
you must stay signed on or connected to AOL before proceeding.)
- With AOL still running in the background, start your newly installed
browser. The new browser will use your AOL connection.
- If you experience any problems getting your new browser to work with
AOL, go to the AOL Member Services area, click "Internet & World Wide Web,"
then double click the "Using other browsers with AOL" heading. This will give
further instructions on how to use a different browser with AOL.
